For ten years Joung Kak Restaurant has provided wood charcoal barbecue cooked on your table. Along with the smoldering cauldron in the middle of your table, Joung Kak offers an excellent Sushi selection.

Charming and strong, Joung Kak Restaurant is an iron pot full of delightful and exciting foods. They vary from the refined Chinese cuisine, the cultured Japanese, to the hot full-bodied Korean.

The Joung Kak Restaurant dining room has a warm retro-look. You feel comfortable and relaxed while you look over the ample menu. It offers everything from beautiful pajun and delicious vermicelli noodles with beef and mushrooms to items only understood by chosen few, like ox tripe soup.

Tables are half setup for table top grilling and half for Korean, Japanese, and Chinese dishes from the kitchen. You will find it difficult to resist the table-grilled barbecue. The server carries a glowing brazier red hot coals to your table. 

Then she returns with a great plate of top-quality beef that is overflowing with short ribs, sliced tenderloin, liver, tongue, and slivers of tripe. You are informed how to eat what, how to approach the tray of sliced raw garlic and hot peppers. Just when you think you’ve got it, the server is gone with a smile and you are on your own.
