The Frederick SportsPlex is a

of the SportsPlex story.
SportsPlex is a fully
climate-controlled indoor sports and fitness
arena in Frederick, Maryland. It was opened in January 2000.
Located
off North Market Street (Route 355n) in Worman's Mill Industrial Park,
it contains more
than 1.6 million cubic feet of space. SportsPlex
has two full-sized (180' x 82') playing fields.
One is a hard court surface for roller skating,
roller hockey, basketball and volleyball.
Soccer,
field hockey, lacrosse and flag football are played
on the Sportturf surface. Pickup and organized basketball is
played on the mezzanine half-court facility.

Spectator seating is on the second
floor mezzanine overlooking the fields.
The SportsPlex
also has its own sports equipment retail outlet,
Frederick Soccer Supplies,
featuring soccer, roller hockey, volleyball
and lacrosse equipment.
SportsPlex also features the Champs Grille's
extensive food service, sports
arcade, SportsPlex Training Center by FitnessJim's,
aerobic conditioning and strength training
complex, team & meeting rooms, and personal coaches and
trainers. New additions to the SportsPlex are American Karate Academy and
Fit-n-Fun Gymnastics.
