Recognition 

Badge Award: Scouts who make a worthy contribution to the cleanup of the County, or who undertake a recycling, beautification or educational project, can earn a distinctive cloth embroidered patch. The Badge Award is an ongoing program, and applications are available upon request by calling the CCCC office at (301) 883-5843.

Annual CCCC Awards: Recognition is given annually to individuals, groups, schools, government agencies, businesses and the news media for outstanding litter control, cleanup, recycling, environmental, education/conservation programs and projects. Applications are available upon request and are accepted no later than the second week of October for the annual awards ceremony held each November. Please call the CCCC office at (301) 883-5843, or pick up an application from your library during the mid-August – September call for nominations period.

Community Service Credit for Students: CCCC certifies community service credit hours for students that assist with CCCC projects. CCCC Materials: Recyclable auto litter bags, posters, decals, and other promotional materials are available, at no cost, upon request.
