Choosing the right dress is important, but leaving adequate time for alterations is imperative! Unless you buy a ready-to-wear dress or a sample gown, wedding dresses are custom-made and must be altered, usually several times, to fit you perfectly. Serendipity recommends that you choose your dress nine to twelve months before the wedding, since it's best to have about six months to spare for fittings. |
